The Project Manager will have the ability to structure, plan, execute, and complete various projects; mitigate risk through managing scope, schedule and quality, and by monitoring the overall operational performance of the project; ensure that the proper knowledge and resources are available when and where needed, and ensure that the expected results are produced; define deliverables, track milestones, review and analyze budgeted hours versus expended hours. 

Candidates should have all or most of the following:

• US Citizenship

• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent

• A minimum of 5 years management experience

• Ability to communicate to multiple levels of personnel and management

• Ability to facilitate team and client meetings effectively

• Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment

• Must exhibit time management skills

• Familiar with a variety of the project management industry concepts, practices, and procedures, and utilize these methodologies where deemed necessary

• Experience directly supervising teams of 5 or more individuals

• Knowledge of the techniques for managing cross-functional teams

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft products (including, but not limited to Project, Word, Excel, and Access)

• Working knowledge of Oracle (10g or 11g), MySQL, and PL/SQL; design and implementation of relational database joins and queries; and standard database concepts, practices, and procedures

• Ability to build and execute complex queries, macros, and modules for parsing data

• Experience with ArcGIS or other GIS solutions preferred

• Knowledge of telecommunication numbering principles

• Understanding of telecommunication and IP network structures

I am seeking an experienced Design Engineer with a background in the Lighting Industry to fill a crucial role with my client, an LED Lighting manufacturer. This individual will head the midwestern design facility which will be responsible for all custom orders (contract manufacturing clients). You will need to be a self-starter who is comfortable managing multiple projects and also comfortable working without supervision.

The incumbent will report directly to the President of the company and will be responsible for all custom designs (complete product design and hand over to contract manufacturer). This is an established and respected company in the LED Lighting Industry with an established Engineering facility which handles their own designs -- the incumbent will work independently of the company's current product engineering department.

Candidates should have all or most of the following:

• 3+ years of experience in the Lighting Industry


• 1+ year of experience in the LED Lighting Industry


• BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar


• Project Management Experience


• Design Experience
